Tribute to Megan from Missouri
who died in 2006 at the age of 13 as a result of suicide
After her 14-year-old daughter, Megan, died by suicide following an intense episode of cyberbullying, her mother founded Megan Meier Foundation – an organization to promote awareness, education, and positive change in response to the issues surrounding bullying, cyberbullying, and suicide. Megan’s mom speaks at schools around the nation, and her foundation offers a scholarship to graduating seniors who have made a positive impact against bullying.
