Tribute to Beth from Illinois
who died in 2007 at the age of 24 from a bike accident
After losing her daughter in a bike accident at the age of 24, Beth’s mom set up a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to a graduating senior from Beth’s high school. Beth was a bright, engaged, giving person – the high school valedictorian was an honors student in college, an athlete, a world traveler, a Habitat for Humanity volunteer, and an organ donor. The scholarship that bears her name is intended to help a young person with similar attributes go to college.
