Tribute to Peyton from Vermont
who died in 2008 in her first year of life from leukemia
Peyton was diagnosed with infant leukemia at birth and died about a month later after undergoing chemotherapy, spinal taps and numerous surgeries. Because they “were the recipients of many acts of kindness and compassion” during their daughter’s short life, Peyton’s parents decided to honor their daughter by giving back to others in her name. Their organization, Doing Good in Her Name, has raised money for sick children, hospitals, and other foundations.
