Tribute to twins Sunshine & Daisy from New York
who died in 2009 as a result of miscarriage
After one mother suffered a late-pregnancy miscarriage that claimed her identical twin daughters – forever nicknamed Sunshine and Daisy – she decided that she would do what she could to let the light back in as she grieved, and the first thing she did was to wear sequins. She says, “It was a lot harder to focus on being depressed when I was physically forcing myself to sparkle!” Eventually, Sunshine and Daisy’s mom launched a campaign to help bereaved moms and other troubled souls regain their “muchness,” or inner joy.
