Tribute to Eve from Montana
who was stillborn in 2013
A mom whose baby girl, Eve, was stillborn, found herself longing for some physical marker that would tell people about Eve – that she had lived, that she once was. On Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day, in October of each year, Eve’s mom lights a candle in remembrance of her baby. Although she lights a candle and says her daughter’s name out loud because Eve died, she says she treasures the experience because it provides a moment to remember that Eve also lived.
