Tribute to Izzy from Devon, England,
who died in 2013 at the age of 14 from suicide
Two years after 14-year-old Izzy died by suicide, her mom chose to honor her life by making a 5-podcast series about her daughter, teen suicide, and the effects of bullying. Talking about her daughter, whom she describes as “always full of life and so funny,” is one way for Izzy’s mom to keep her present. She hopes that by openly discussing teen suicide and the effects of bullying in school and online, she might be able to raise awareness about bullying or help prevent another death. She does this to honor her daughter’s memory.
