The second winner of the Emma Mebane Magnificent Machine Award (EMMMA) is Elizabeth Koskiewicz.

A YEAR AFTER SHE WON THE AWARD
Elizabeth’s expansive love of the arts includes dance and music in addition to drawing and painting, but she’s pretty much the only artist in her family. She explained, “Whenever my family gets together, I always have people asking me to draw them in an endless array of potential models … and my art has been featured in every home of my extended family on every refrigerator.”
Most of Elizabeth’s artistic work has been in traditional media but, through her friends, she observes, “I’ve seen how awesome electronic & digital art and design can be.” Hopefully, her EMMMA scholarship will help her develop her talents in the digital arena. Her immediate plan was to attend UW-Madison to study communications, with a minor in art.
