One scholarship of $1500 is to be given annually by The TONI Connection to one Denver Metro Area recipient of the current graduating class. The scholarship applications are available to high school seniors who plan to apply for admission to any accredited private or public community, junior, or four-year college or university. Applicants should be interested in one of the following areas of study: Hospitality, Fine Arts, Education, or Counseling.
GPA and test scores are only partial elements in the recipient’s consideration. Personal history and essay questions are equally measured in the application.
Applicants need to provide the following information as part of the application process:
- Briefly describe your personal background and your academic goals.
- Choose one of the three following topics and explain what you have learned – a) Domestic violence in dating relationships; b) Raising awareness about dating violence prevention in your school; or c) Define a healthy dating relationship.

The TONI Connection is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to the legacy of Toni Clark. The mission of The TONI Connection is to raise awareness of relationship abuse among teens and young adults through education, advocacy, and community service. Our scholarship helps to raise awareness among high school students about the importance of healthy dating relationships. 1 in 3 teenagers has experienced relationship violence at sometime between the ages of 12 to 24. The best way to prevent abuse is through education.
